Inclement Weather Policy – Delivery & Installation

At Chesapeake Billiards, the safety of our customers, staff, and equipment is our top priority. Because pool table delivery and installation involves heavy materials, precise leveling, and safe access to your home or business, weather conditions can directly impact our ability to perform quality work.

Weather Conditions That May Require Rescheduling

We reserve the right to delay or reschedule deliveries and installations in the event of:

• Snow, ice, or freezing rain

• Heavy rain or flooding

• High winds

• Extreme cold or heat that could affect materials or safety

• Unsafe road or driveway conditions

• Power outages or weather-related emergencies

Safety First

Pool tables are extremely heavy and sensitive to moisture and temperature changes. Unsafe weather can:

• Create slipping hazards for technicians

• Risk damage to your table, flooring, or home

• Prevent proper leveling or installation

• Increase risk of injury

For these reasons, we will not perform deliveries or installations if conditions are deemed unsafe.

Scheduling & Communication

• If inclement weather is expected, we will contact you as early as possible to discuss rescheduling.

• In most cases, your appointment will be moved to the next available date at no additional charge.

• If weather conditions change suddenly on the day of service, our team may make a judgment call to postpone for safety reasons.

Customer Access Requirements

For deliveries to proceed safely, customers are responsible for ensuring:

• Driveways, walkways, and entry areas are clear of snow and ice

• Adequate indoor space is available and dry

• Access paths are safe for moving large equipment

If conditions are unsafe upon arrival, the job may need to be rescheduled.

Deposits & Fees

• No additional fee will be charged for weather-related rescheduling initiated by Chesapeake Billiards.

• If a customer chooses to proceed against our recommendation and conditions are unsafe, we reserve the right to decline service.

• If a delivery must be rescheduled due to unsafe conditions not disclosed in advance, a rescheduling fee may apply.
